I clicked into Cat Pizza expecting a simple cooking game, but it ended up feeling more like a fast-paced restaurant simulator. You play as a cat who has to handle the entire pizza shop alone. There are no employees to help you, so every order, every dirty table, and every payment is your responsibility.
The first few minutes are pretty relaxed. You only have one table, a small menu, and just enough customers to learn how everything works. That doesn't last long. Once the restaurant gets busier, you'll constantly be running from one side of the shop to the other trying to keep everyone happy.
The Cat Pizza gameplay is straightforward, but there's always something demanding your attention. A customer sits down, another one is waiting for a pizza, someone else has finished eating, and another table needs cleaning before new guests can use it.
I found that success isn't really about moving as fast as possible. It's about deciding what deserves your attention first.
For example, sometimes I’d leave a finished pizza sitting there for a few seconds just to clear another table quickly. That small delay actually made a difference, since it let a new customer sit down right away instead of keeping a seat empty for no reason.
Those little choices happen constantly, and they're what make the game enjoyable.
Some of the most valuable upgrades include:
A fully upgraded restaurant can serve several times more customers than the starting shop.
For instance:
| Restaurant Stage | Tables | Approximate Customer Capacity |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 1 | 2 customers |
| Mid Game | 3 | 6 customers |
| Late Game | 5+ | 10-12 customers |
