Idle Success is a browser-based idle clicker and simulation game. You start broke and out of shape. Then you invest time and virtual cash into fitness, education, jobs, and your home. Numbers go up. Your character levels up. It feels good.
Do not spread your clicks across all icons randomly. I made this mistake for my first two hours. I worked out for a bit, then studied, then worked a job. Nothing progressed quickly. What works better: Pick one category – fitness, education, or career – and hammer it until you hit the next upgrade tier. For example, I pushed workouts until my strength unlocked a better job. Then I pushed that job for better income. Then I used that income to upgrade my home.
Your home affects your energy and recovery. I ignored home upgrades for way too long because they did not feel "active" like working out or studying. Big mistake. Once I bought my first couch and then a better bed, my character recovered faster between actions. That meant more clicks per minute. More clicks per minute meant faster leveling.

The game tells you this, but I did not realize how much it mattered. When you click on your character during any action, you speed up that action. So do not just click the workout icon once and wait. Click it, then click your character repeatedly. Each click shaves off a small amount of time. Over a full session, those seconds add up to minutes saved.
